On Wings of Blood by Briar Boleyn
While I enjoyed this book, I have a lot of questions that this book didn't address. First and foremost, how old are all of these characters supposed to be and how exactly do vampires age in this series? It is implied that they are adults, but why are they in school? Why does the description say vampire high school? If they are in vampire high school then why is Blake leading some of the military? Why did Medra no longer have any of her magic? She can clearly talk to dragons, since she was able to wake up a dragon and talk to it, but why can't she do any other magic? And what is going on with the human professor who is teaching her how to shield her thoughts? There is something special about him, but we don't know what. Blake and Medra have great chemistry, even if neither is particularly fond of the other. Also, his brother is a creep and his uncle is even worse. Luckily my library has the next book available in ebook format so I can *hopefully* get some answers!
