Dead Bolt by Juliet Blackwell
We have our contractor, Mel, having issues with ghosts at another job site. She is renovating a house for a young couple with a baby and weird things keep happening. The wife believes it is a spirit and turns to Mel for help. Mel wants them to move out of the basement but the husband refuses. Enter Graham(?) who the husband has hired to help them be more eco-friendly. They go up to the attic together to investigate and end up almost kissing, which is bad because he is dating a party planner; the same party planner the wife hired to plan the baby's first birthday party. Mel does some research, talks to some people, and discovers that the original owners all had bad deaths: one brother killed the other and then died (or killed himself - I don't remember) and the mother and daughter in law lived together, and she was pregnant with the baby of the killer brother and not her husband! Anyway, Mel managed to communicate with them and resolve their issues and now the house is safe. It was fine as far as cozy mysteries go, but I am definitely still NOT a fan of the love interest.
